The concept of ‘home’ differs from person to person.
Maybe it is a place,
or it could be someone you care for,
a smell, a taste, even a memory…
Whether our concept of home
is ever-changing
or if it is associated with the
physical place we grew up,
everyone holds a special place in their heart for their home –
whatever that means to them.
Our ideas of home create a
sense of comfort and calmness.
Our “My Heart Is My Home” theme teaches homeless children that no
matter where they live physically, their home is always in their heart
and with people they love and are supported by.
The children visualize their “heart-homes” and then create them using available materials.
