Art Show Opening – Recap

Successful Art Show Opening at The Gallery at Irwin Street!

Several of the children from the shelters were able to dress up and join us for the opening of the Children’s Art Show. Not only was it an amazing experience for them to grow in confidence through seeing their creations proudly displayed and available for purchase; but we also had four pieces purchased at the opening of the show!

It was incredible to witness the joy on their faces and their interactions with the guests who purchased their work. They had fun, created more art, danced, laughed, ate ice cream and danced until they couldn’t dance anymore! Overall, it was an incredible day!

The children’s art will remain up through March 4 – so please visit The Gallery at Irwin Street (660 Irwin St NE, Atlanta, GA 30312) to support our children and their art! Also make sure to stop into Jake’s Ice Cream and order a “drawchange Raspberry Surprise”, designed by our children. 100% of proceeds go directly back to our programming with them!📷

Thank you to The Gallery at Irwin Street, Jake’s Ice Cream, Lymousine Rider, and our countless volunteers for making this art show a huge success – we couldn’t make a difference in the lives of these children without you!
