We are the proud recipients of the Orlando’s Mayor’s Matching Grant Program for 2022! This program was implemented to help address neighborhood needs, improve education and build community pride in Orlando, the City Beautiful.
We are grateful for this opportunity to work alongside the city to further establish and improve our Orlando-based programs. Thank you, Mayor Buddy Dyer! This partnership will allow us to respond to the unique needs of children experiencing homelessness in Orlando by appointing an Art Camp Coordinator and incorporating a Certified Art Therapist into our curriculum development and research. Both of these roles will allow our shelter programs in Orlando and our in-person Summer Music and Art Camp to thrive and become more individualized than ever before.
This grant will allow us to ensure the high-quality, effective, and consistent care that the children in our programs deserve. We are thrilled that the City of Orlando is partnering with us to continue providing safe spaces for children to express their feelings, foster hope, and envision a break in their family’s cycle of poverty.
