After Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico in 2017, the #drawchangefamily was prompted to travel with supplies in tow. We immediately partnered with two orphanages in Aguadilla and Mayaguez to help the children cope with the aftermath they were facing.
With most art programs being cut from Puerto Rico's public schools, our program is often their only exposure to the arts. A #weekwithdrawchange gives you a glimpse into why children need art and why we take action. The Puerto Rican children are learning a healthy tool to cope with their new lives while also living in orphanages.
